| The Varsity Theater was rocked by Glitter Ball 2.0, a tribute to 70's Glam Rock to benefit Clare Housing and Minnesota Aids Project sponsored by Rock the Cause. The ball featured live performances by Crash Street Kids, White Light Riot, So It Goes, Mercurial Rage, Sick of Sarah and All the Pretty Horses. Each played their fave glam rock songs from artists like David Bowie, Kiss, T Rex, Queen and more. Local celeb Ian Ran put on some mascrara and hosted the evening with style while DJ Jake Rudh spun some glitter rock magic. |
